Signs Of Life
Well we came home early this morning from our weekend retreat. I’m happy to say there are signs of life every where this morning. The cabana boy thinks this sunflower looks like it is yawning.

This is one of the rogue ones from the bird feed. It’s pretty!!

Mmmmm peppers anyone? Who wants to try that bright red cayenne one for me? ![]()

The potatoes are finally starting to flower too!!

And the best sign of life!

Shhhh!!! The baby blue birds are sleeping!!!

what a nice welcome home! I know you have been waiting!! My sunflowers grew to a total height of a whopping 8 inches. But my butterfly weed recovered and is taller than dd2 ... go figure! Will be putting up garden pics and ?s soon. Anyone who knows about growing cukes, I will need some help!

Thanks guys!!! :-D I'm the wrong one to ask on cucumbers... my vines are already 5 feet high and every baby cuke has fallen off. I planted two more in the ground instead of a container and bought another variety of seed to try....
Randi, I'm laughing because our wild bunnies are just brazen and coming up on the porch to try to get the tomatoes. I think next year I'm going to have to try upside down ones. But there are so many sunflowers that he just couldn't get all of them, but he did eat a lot of them. :-) Thankfully, they don't like or haven't found the birdhouse gourds!!
