Cow Peas

Or if you grew up where I did… black eyed peas…. they had blooms over the last week, but I had not seen anything else… apparently they work in stealth mode…. This is what happens after the bloom falls off….

And then it sheds that….

A little more…..

And then this pod camoflauges pretty darn well doesn’t it?!

I think I’ll have peas within the next week.

Whatever was eating the carrots stopped finally so the tops are growing back. The cosmic purple carrots actually have puple and green tops on them.

And my seed order came in!!!

That is my winter, spring and summer garden right there!!! And if I have not mentioned it, my last three orders have come from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds. I can not say enough about how good their selection is as well as their service!!!

Hope your weekend is off to a fun start!!!

Do You Think?

Anyone would even think to ask our candidates this question???!!!!!

Maybe they should…… I’d like to know the answer……
